Who Is Sun Holding?

Established in Bursa in 2001, Sun Group entered the plastics industry by investing in the production of concentrated color products and masterbatch solutions for all sectors utilizing plastics, particularly automotive and textiles. From its inception, Sun Group has structured its growth strategy to meet the needs of diverse industries, steadily increasing its production capacity through continuous investments.

In 2014, driven by strong demand from the automotive sector and supported by its wide and high-quality product portfolio and sustainable service approach, Sun Group invested in compound production in addition to masterbatch products. The company has reached its current production capacity through ongoing annual investments and continues to pursue growth and capacity expansion initiatives.

In 2022, Sun Group strengthened its sustainability-focused production structure by acquiring REGE, a company with 34 years of experience in the recycling sector, in line with the needs of the automotive industry. Following Rege Plast’s integration into SUN Holding, the company was relocated to the Bursa Organized Industrial Zone adjacent to the other two factories in order to establish an integrated ecosystem and increase capacity, resulting in a fivefold increase in production capacity.

As a result of these developments, the factories and companies consolidated under the SUN Holding umbrella in 2022 have achieved the position of being Turkey’s first and only organization with an integrated production and ecosystem structure. In addition to its three production facilities in Turkey, SUN Holding has increased its effectiveness in global markets through investments in Germany and currently exports to more than 50 countries.

Established entirely through 100% domestic and national investments, SUN Holding operates three factories in compliance with international standards. Through its R&D-oriented approach, innovative technological infrastructure, and independent production capability, the company provides integrated solutions to its customers.
